The Greatest Bluegrass Band on Planet Earth

Chris Capozzoli & Friends, the band led by Chris Capozzoli, was started in 2012 when Chris returned to Nashville, TN. A multi-instrumentalist, Chris found that he was regularly handling the booking of his band for private events and concerts. The name was born out of the sheer nature of what each show was: Chris Capozzoli playing music with his friends.

Chris is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (‘09) who plays piano, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and pedal steel. Some of the greatest utility musicians in town have frequently sought his advice and information on how to play their instruments better, which is how he’s gained the nickname, ‘Your favorite musician’s favorite musician.’
