The Greatest Bluegrass Band on Planet Earth

Based out of Missoula, Montana, and formerly a longtime resident of Nashville, TN, Chris Capozzoli has been described as, β€œan accomplished network maker and scene enabler,” by famed music critic, Craig Havighurst.

With his band, Chris Capozzoli & Friends, Chris held the longest weekly residency at the 12 South Taproom, a heralded venue in Nashville which hosted musicians such as Guthrie Trapp, Kenny Vaughan, Jeffrey Clemmens, Dave Roe, Pat Bergeson, and Dave Pomeroy. As the house band from 2015 until 2026, Chris Capozzoli & Friends played every week for just over 10 years, closing down the bar on its final night of operation, May 25, 2026.

Chris proudly is a sponsored artist of Preston Thompson Guitars and Voight Mandolins.
